Meeting Highlights: One of the pivotal moments of the meeting was our one-on-one session with Ms. Zhang, the representative from the Local Organizing Committee (LOC). During this exchange, we articulated our key requests, which included the provision of two portable racquetball courts to enhance the promotion of racquetball and leave a lasting legacy after the 2025 TWG. We also emphasized the importance of having Chinese players represent the sport and securing a venue with increased spectator capacity. It is worth noting that Ms. Zhang displayed a high level of receptivity to our requests, and we received positive indications that our proposals will likely be accepted. We anticipate confirmation of these arrangements by the end of December this year. Furthermore, we have initiated collaboration with the International World Games Association (IWGA), which will lend its support in championing our requests during discussions with the Chinese National Sports Organization. In conclusion, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to Osvaldo, the President, and the board of the IRF for entrusting the ARF with the responsibility of representing the racquetball community at this crucial gathering in Chengdu, China. Additionally, I would like to extend my recognition to Yuni Cobb and Chenghuan Li for their invaluable expertise and contributions that played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of this meeting.
